The two working groups, formed by the two largest parties emerged from elections -- the LVV and the LDK -- to discuss harmonising the governing programme have held the first meeting yesterday. Representatives of these two subjects said deep sectoral reforms, which await the next government, have been talked about at this meeting. Until they said they have not discussed the division of ministries, officials from these parties claimed they agreed on the content of the co-government agreement. Summit participants denied to have unveiled conditions for co-government during Friday's discussion. After the meeting, however, little detail was given, although the two sides talked for more than an hour. On the contrary, shortly after the meeting held Friday at the LDK headquarters in Pristina, the LVV and LDK issued a communique for media, through which they announced that the next meeting would be held next Wednesday next week.
Participants Call Meeting Fine
In his statement, LVV deputy candidate Glauk Konjufca said that at the meeting it has been discussed about radical topics and reforms awaiting Kosovo's next government. The most important topics, which await the future government and deep sectoral reforms, which the future LVV governance must undertake together with LDK”, he has declared.
Even so, Konjufca refused to provide much details regarding the harmonisation of the programme and other issues, which were discussed at the meeting. I can't speak in detail, because we think the best thing that could contribute to this good atmosphere of cooperation with which our meetings started would be some kind of trust that we have in handling them. So all I could say today is that we need deep reforms in education, in health, in administration”, he underlined, writes the newspaper “Zeri”.
During his statement, Konjufca denied that during the meeting it would have been discussed dividing ministries. “has not been talked about either the minister or the division of the resorts”, he added. He also assured that neither side has presented any kind of conditions at Friday's meeting. “There was no condition, meeting was excellent and I think this is the right way. Neither do we have conditions for the LDK, nor do they have conditions for us. This has not been a meeting of conditions, it has been a very good meeting, where the most important topics that await the future government” have been spoken, he has suggested.
Since foreign policy has also been discussed at the meeting, Konjufca has claimed that the topics raised have included dialogue. The topics are being discussed starting with those political, foreign policy, domestic politics. One of the themes certainly is the dialog”, he added.
