As reported in the VV's announcement, Sardi welcomed the regular management of the election process, praising the citizens' large turnout in democratic elections in the country. He said that, after the certificate of results, it is important to form new institutions and government.
Kurti thanked Ambassador Sardi for Italy's current support of the Republic of Kosovo and voiced confidence that with the new government of co-operation between our two countries, it will be built and advanced further.
Chief Kurti announced that the new government's priority would be to reduce power for strengthening the state, institutional and legal justice and economic development and employment. In this direction, he said, talks are under way by the Vetevendosje Movement and the Democratic League, which will give the new government to the Republic. For last, Mr. Kurti also spoke of irregularities and violations during the election process in Serb majority municipalities lacking rule of law, political pluralism and democracy”, the announcement said.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the interest in continued contacts and future co-operative meetings was expressed.
