Kosovo customs clears up about proclaiming internal competitions

A communiqué for the media says Kosovo Customs on the basis of the organisational structure has several positions that are covered by duty fraud and these positions should be covered through internal competitions.

To complete the organisational structure, Dogan explains that he has received written recommendations from the general audience and the EU Office, that these positions must be met according to the approved structure, with professional staff and through internal competitions, and therefore open procedures with equal opportunities are under way for all the staff based on legislation in force regulating this area of staff development.

These procedures, according to Dogana, are under way according to the internal plan of human resources throughout 2019.

To preserve the image as a professional and independent institution, Dogana stresses that he has respected the time of elections and that during this phase he has not conducted any recruiting procedure in order not to be misunderstood by the public, even though in May 2019 these preparations have been made for recruiting, so it is a legal obligation for these procedures to be completed by the end of the year.
