Berisha, from the village of Doberdol of Kline, has been living with her parents since the United States and is studying medicine.
The idea of collecting donations to help Kosovo's children came as she was on vacation in Kosovo in 2014, and one of her relatives became ill and sought help at the CQU. At the Pristina public hospital, Elizabeth saw the lack of basics, and from this she began to live up to her idea.
Already 17-year-old has founded the fund called “beta '%s Healthcare Supplees Drive” (Health content Beta).
The feeling of compassion for others moved Elizabeth to do something to change the situation in Pristina, and by this, Beata's bicusia arose where people can donate.
To help the Albanian girl from Kosovo project, pharmacies in the town of Westchester have also been offered to show donor boxes at their stores.
These boxes have served as collection points for medicine and medical equipment.
The aid collected by Elizabeth Berisha has handed over to the organisation “Action for Mother and Child” in an event this organisation has held in the United States.
She says she will continue with her humanitarian activities.
