Wessel has spoken to Kosovo's youth.
I see you in the eye. And I assure you that your generation will live much better than our” generation, he said.
Leader of The PDK has stressed that the future of youth is here in Kosovo. I want to see you valuable and happy in this blessed and beautiful country. I want your potential to flourish in our country. I have faith and am proud of you. As I'm proud of my children”, Vessel said.
He has acknowledged that not enough has been done for Kosovo's youth, but has now said he will change it.
This is the full speech of PDK candidate for Prime Minister Kadri Veselin:
Thank you.
Thank you very much.
Thank you all.
This is the end of the 6 October election campaign, which we will win!
This is the will of the citizens.
That will is expressed in Pristina tonight, as expressed in every corner of our country.
With dynamism, enthusiastically, with conviction.
Your voice is strong! It's clear! Sounds like everybody!
On Sunday, Kosovo will win, the Democratic Party.
Thank you all for your support. For your faith.
I will honor this faith with all my might.
I thank everyone I've met all these days.
I have heard the beatings of young people's hearts full of faith for the future we will build together.
I've heard them all.
And I'm telling you firmly: I know what Kosovo needs.
The direction Kosovo must take, both inside and outside.
I know what to do.
You know what needs to be done for the young man and the old man, for the student, for the student, for the innovator, for the teacher, for the professor, for the doctor, for the nurse, for the nurse, for the farmer, for the builder, for the sportsman, for the artist, for the miner, for the pensioner, for the waiter, for the taxi driver, for the salesman, for the worker, but especially for the unemployed.
I know what to do for veterans, martyrs and martyrs.
For our holy Kosovo.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo has always known to move Kosovo forward.
Even today, we will know how to act together, so that we can continue to move Kosovo forward.
Our officers competed with only one message in this campaign, the one against, against PDK.
And we, instead of talking against them, talked about what really matters to citizens.
We talked about fighting corruption and nepotism.
We talked about creating equal chances.
We talked about economic development and job creation.
We talked about improving the education system and the health system.
We talked about the partnership we're going to build with America.
We talked about NATO integration, the European Union and the United Nations Organisation.
Most importantly, we explain how through solving these problems, we will keep our precious young people in Kosovo and build the future -- for you and for the state.
And, as you know, we do our job.
I keep my word.
When I promise to fight corruption I will.
When I promise to develop the economy I will do it, along with the wise people of Kosovo.
When I promise I do.
When the Democratic Party of Kosovo promises, it keeps its word.
So, my message to my dear PDK supporters, and all citizens, throughout the country, is clear: continue on the positive path.
Others will speak against us.
And we will act on what matters to the country.
That's how we gain the citizens' trust.
Dear citizens,
So this is the end of the election campaign.
But it is also the beginning of a new campaign, which we will win. The campaign for a different Kosovo, which begins... Monday!
The campaign in which we will all compete together for our best Kosovo.
Because we are all brothers and sisters. We shouldn't fight each other.
The issues that divide us are very insignificant in the face of the big issues that unite us.
Kosovo unites us.
From October 6th on, we will continue united.
Nothing can stop our hope and our determination!
Nothing can stop this free nation!
Together we are strong!
And we are stronger with our best friends, with the United States of America, Great Britain, and the European Union.
Kosovo will change much, conspicuously and for good.
New opportunities will arise, new jobs, the best quality of life, the best future.
For everyone. No difference.
I'm talking to every citizen of Kosovo today.
And I'm calling on everyone to embrace our vision.
For Kosovo and the future. Kosovo of our dreams. Independent Kosovo, which will not violate territorial and institutional integrity.
Kosovo, which radiates hope, peace, good neighbour and is capable of helping its brothers in Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanoc.
For respected Kosovo abroad, Western, modern, proud.
Tonight, in particular, I want to address the wonderful youth of our country.
You are our present and our future!
You're the ones I have in mind... in every policy I'm pursuing, in everything I think, I say and do.
I see you in the eye.
And I guarantee that your generation will live much better than our generation.
The future is yours and here in Kosovo.
I want to see you valued and happy in this blessed and beautiful country.
I want your potential to flourish in our country.
I have faith and am proud of you. As I am proud of my children!
I know it's not done enough for you. But now is the time to change that. To make Kosovo a better place for you.
Everything we're planning on doing is for you.
Because, you deserve to live in a country full of possibilities.
A country that will support the talented but will not leave anyone behind.
A safe and stable place.
Walking on the road to European integration. Always side by side with our American, Western friends.
In this new Kosovo, there is no room for old bad practices.
There is no place for injustice. There is no place for hatred. There is no place for corruption.
I have already begun fighting corruption, multiyear-old evil that stifles the potential of our country.
I set standard.
Politics created problems in Kosovo, we have to accept this.
Good politics, however, is what can correct them.
I believe that!
Together we will move forward.
Towards our common future. But we won't leave anyone behind.
We'll be 112 for every citizen.
112 for everyone!
112 for our youth.
112 for you and the state.
We'll win on Sunday!
And we will win the new campaign for modern Kosovo, after 6 October.
We will win because we have the program, the politics, the knowledge, the courage, the determination and the partners.
And we're more than ever ready to move on!
