Vetevendosje Movement MP Albulen Hahiu, during an interview with Economy Online, says the VV will exists for co-operation with the LDK, but not the latter.
“We have immediately assigned that day the representative who will represent the VV in these working groups, the responsibility of these groups will be to harmonise the governing programme. However, if there is a political will to light Kosovo on, then I believe there will not have to be obstacles. So if there is will, of course this is possible”, she says.
Haxhiu leaves the LDK guilty of which he says he is wasting time waiting for the election Certificate. She says talks on harmonising the governing programme can continue even without the outcome of the recounting and certificate of elections.
“As for the VV, we are extremely open and very interested in making this coalition, but we have not unfortunately seen the same interest in the Democratic League of Kosovo. Here I'd like to add that we don't need to wait for the results certificate, if we don't have meetings until certificate, then this for VV is a wasted time”, Haxhiu tells EO.
Lutfi Haziri's statement that the VV didn't have a man lined up after a wife for prime minister, Haxhi is calling the structures and asked him to withdraw from them.
I've seen destructive statements, especially Lutfi Haziri's, not helping co-operation with the VV and the government, so today I've invited him to withdraw from these statements that don't even help our government co-operation”, she says of EO.
In meetings that were held long ago, Haxhiu says the only agreement is to reduce the number of ministries and include gender equality in the future government.
We've had a meeting between Vetevendosje representatives, so our chairman is with Isa Mustaf and Vjosa Osman. It has been an optimistic meeting, in the sense of government co-operation. So they agree on what the number of ministries will be, including gender equality in future governance, for some decisions that should not be brought before the Kurti government, but the most important that have been agreed on for the working groups”, Haxhi said.
The Vetevendosje movement in the 6 October elections came first, followed by the Democratic League of Kosovo.
