The European Union has agreed to postpone Brexit on 31 January 2020, the president of the European Council has announced through Twitter.
Donald Tusk said the bloc would also allow a similar phelsibil extension, meaning that the United Kingdom can come out of the EU even before that deadline, if the agreement is approved in Parliament.
This comes as MPs prepare to vote on Boris Johnson's proposal for early elections on December 12th. /periscope/
