Erdogan from Belgrade: Turkey ready to resolve Kosovo issue

The Turkish head of state arrived in Belgrade for an official visit, where he was received with military honours while standing by Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vuciq.

Serbian media claim Erdogan has underlined that reaching a Pristina-Belgrade agreement, which would be acceptable to both sides, would receive Ankara's support.

He calls such a deal essential to achieving stability and long-term peace in the Balkans, even according to him, is why Turkey supports the resumption of dialogue between the two countries. /tch
