The candidate for president of the United States from the ranks of the Democratic Party, Bernie Saunders, has undergone an emergency operation after having undergone a heart attack. The news has confirmed his campaign officials and doctors.
The senator was sent to the hospital Tuesday after complaining of chest pain during a rally in Nevada.
Doctors reportedly have run the 78-year-old politician's operation to unlock one of the arteries.
On Friday, Sanders said he was feeling great after he left the hospital.
Doctors said that they have placed two stages in a blocked coronary artery. They confirmed that the politician has progress in health, but that he has been advised to be controlled by his personal physician.
At the time when the race for presidential candidate within the Democratic Party has been roughed up, Sanders vowed he would participate in the upcoming television debate, which will be held on October 15th.
