So it was said at a media conference held by DnV, which has monitored the October 6th elections in Kosovo, with which it has shown today about the entire course of the election process.
It was said the elections were held in a calm and democratic spirit. Artan Murati from DnV said the elections were administered according to higher standards.
According to him, despite minor irregularities the election day has gone smoothly.
Murati said some of the phenomena that have been recorded in this election are: the increased number of voters with assistance, the difficulties with finding the location centre, the photograph of the vote, voters with expired documents, and according to him, in some cases have been voted on other documents, not the Republic of Kosovo.
“Disturbing remains the phenomenon displayed with the enormous number of invalid ballotings, more than 400,000 invalid balloting” has been recorded, Murati said.
He said the CEC has shown high level in office by having a transparent approach, which according to him, testifies to advancement in the work of the CEC and the Municipal Election Commission (KKZ).
