Democracy in Action has reacted to the Supreme Court's decision on diaspora votes.

“Democracy in Action ( DnV has followed all developments regarding the alleged ballot packages, which have come late from the diaspora. DnV recognises and fully respects the universal right of all Kosovo citizens to choose, in this case citizens rightly live abroad. However, this right must be exercised by respecting the procedures and legal deadlines defined under electoral legislation. DnV considers that the goal for which the procedures and legal deadlines for exercising the right to vote from abroad are also based on international practices, and as such serves ensuring the integrity and regularity of the election process. We appreciate that the Supreme Court's decision on accepting and evaluating these packages as fair, although it is applicable, is unfair and represents a precedent that can negatively affect the prosperity of the election processes in Kosovo. Taking into consideration the complexity created in terms of voting abroad in these elections, DnV requires that this issue be one of the main priorities to be addressed under electoral reform”, DnVė's response said. /Periscope.
