Despite the continued commitment to detecting fires and extinguishing some fire hearers are still active.
There is no real information about the causes of fires so far, but there are indicators that they have spread as a result of local residents or visitors to the park, even though the possibility of fires being even deliberate. It should be mentioned that during yesterday alone, 10 new fires at the Roskodol region have been turned off. Kosovo Police and Prosecutor's Organs, who have emerged at the scene, have also been notified and are dealing with the case”, the report says.
It is said that by taking on drying in our country these days, the possibility of spreading new forest fires, including forests in the National Parks, is evident.
“Therefore, with the aim of preventing the appearance of fires and spreading them, the MMPH minister has appealed to increase the care of creating new fires. While the Agency for Protection of the Environment of Kosovo through the Directorate for Management of the PK Sharri and the Directorate for Management and the PK Bjeshks and Nemuna has increased vigilance, readiness, control and monitoring of the Parca territory.
To manage this situation more efficiently, the level of co-operation with all relevant bodies has also increased as emergency units in relevant municipalities, fire units, Kosovo Police and other institutions”.
This agency has appealed to all citizens of Kosovo, and especially to visitors, park dwellers, property users, and other citizens to take maximum care of preventing fires and spreading them to park territory.
