According to Prodecanes for Teaching Affairs, Majlinda Gelay, this quota reserved for them is never met, KTV reports.
According to her, minority communities have little interest in applying to programmes that the Education Faculty offers.
And because of this, Gelaj says they have applied for these countries to be left empty by Albanian students.
Such a request has been forwarded to the Pristina University Rectorate to the Ministry of Education.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education has not answered television questions if they have made any decisions.
In 2016, the Ministry of Education had drafted an Administrative Guide with which it regulated the countries reserved for students of non - majority communities.
According to this instruction, 12% of students accepted for an academic year at Kosovo public universities must be students of minority communities.
