Chief State Prosecutor's Office considers that some media have misinterpreted the State Prosecutor's statement, Alexander Lumez, given a media in Kosovo titled “Chief Prosecutor Lumez: We're looking for help from the American Embassy in investigating the Astrit Deharit” case.

For the sake of fair public opinion information, Chief State Prosecutor's Office informs you that State Prosecutor Alexander Lumezi, decidously, has stated that if necessary, after the company all relevant actions by local authorities for the full lighting of the Astrit Dehar case will be sought legal assistance by the American Embassy in Kosovo.
In this context, this evental assistance will be realised through international judicial assistance through expertise and professional examinations, which are necessary for clarifying the circumstances of this case's criminal procedure, as provided in the Criminal Procedure Code and other laws in force in the Republic of Kosovo.
