CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi has indicated to Klan Kosovo all the steps a voter should follow to give his vote and for it to be considered valid.
“We are at the entrance to a location at the Philological Faculty Center. The first ) at every door of each polling site is marked the number of relevant locations and some of the stops such as smoking, voting photographing, and carrying a”.
A voter who comes to vote in his polling initially at the entry of the polling site is to meet what we call line controller”.
“The line controller's job is to see if the voter has voted before. He does so by controlling the voters' finger with the ultraviolet pipe, which detects the color in voters' finger in case it was sprayed earlier”.
“If the voter has not voted, so no fingerprints detected, then the voter can proceed with the next procedure to vote”.
“The next opening of voters is to go to the authentication official. The identity official's task is to find the voter's voter list. He finds this because the citizen has presented him with the document required for ID at the” poll.
“If it is not on the voter list, voters are told to go to the assistant desk to get more information so that he can find his location”.
But what are the documents Kosovo citizens can vote with tomorrow?
“There are four documents of acceptable identification at the polling site ʹ valid passport, valid ID, valid travel document and valid driving permission ʹ documents that must be issued by the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo”.
“After identifying voters by the identification official, the voter must sign close to his name.
After that, the voter will be passed on to the next person who is the balloter. The ballot giver first sprays the voters' index finger in color to confirm that voters are voting. Then, I seal the ballot back and give it to voters”.
