Prime Minister Boris Johnson hopes in this election to regain the majority and implement his promise to get Great Britain out of the European Union.
The bill, which called for the vote -- for the third general elections in four years -- was passed by an overwhelming majority of 438 votes per, 20 against, in the House of Commons.
