Kosovo's Tax Administration has increased the level of revenue performance even for the January-September period of this year, as a result of intensifying activities in the field, namely handling debts and fighting the informal economy.
For the upper period, ATK has managed to raise 35.5m euros in more than the same period last year, while total revenues collected are worth 372.3m euros. While your pension contributions are worth 132.9m euros, totaling 505.2m euros in taxes and contributions.
“The ATK project for this year is 516m euros or 16% more than last year's plan, but the ATK's goals for this year will be very clear and we will be within the framework of the Strategy of Fulfilling and Strategic Plans, we will work on fighting and preventing the informal economy, since with the decline of informality we will have increased incomes and simultaneously, creating equality in the market. Also of great importance is increasing communication with taxpayers, since only in this way will they understand their obligations to the tax administration. With a similar approach like this we could have this parallel with capacity consolidation, as well as completing legal infrastructure”, the communiqué issued by the ATK said.
It is also said that the ATK mission is encouraging taxpayers for voluntary fulfillment, transparent and inclusive treatment and giving professional advice on law enforcement. We've gone in that direction to create modules so that taxpayers can ease their statements.
