November 5th, the US “holds local elections. Among the candidates for municipal councils are Albanian candidates Visar Tasim and Jetlir Tower.
Tasim, a member of the Diaspora Co-ordination Council, was born in the US and ran for the first time at the Naugauk municipal council in Connecticut. While the Tower has gone to the US and ran for the third term in the town's Waterbury municipal council.
He is proud of this achievement and representation in the council, while Visari is hoping very much in the greatest commitment of youth to local governance”, Mikeo wrote on Facebook.
