Founded nearly four centuries ago in Cambridge, Harvard is the first American institution of higher education founded by Protestant theologian John Harvard.
Since the founder was the theologian, the purpose of the institution was first to educate and educate clergymen.
At first, this educational institution bore the name Colleagues, but in 1639 it was named Harvard, in honor of its founder, who forgave some of his wealth and rich library.
And in 1879, girls' college was established, which was also called the Harvard “Anex”.
And among the first Albanians to study at Harvard are considered to be Fan Noley and Constantine Tasko.
Today, however, thousands of students worldwide study at this university in basic studies, master, and doctorate.
Currently, Harvard is part of one of Ivy Leaux's eight prestigious universities.
