Wuchik returned the letter to Trump: Kosovo tax is damaging, risking Serb life

For your December 14th letter, where you once again express the willingness of the United States of America to help dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, in the service of a solution to the secular problem between Kosovo and Serbia”, it is said in Vuciqi's letter following the letter Donald Trump had written on December 14th.

According to Vuciqi, Kosovo's problem has become a heavy burden for Serbia and its people, directly asking the US president for help in resolving this problem.

We are committed to continuing dialogue, and we think about the future of all of us in the Western Balkans. We have all fulfilled our obligations under the Brussels agreement. However, Serbia cannot solve this single difficult problem”, says Vuciq sent it to Trump, writes RTS.

In this letter, Vuciq has complained to Trump about the tax imposed by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo on Serbian goods, which the Serbian president says is an insurmountable obstacle to the resumption of dialogue.

It is not only damaging the Serbian economy, but also endangering the lives of Serbs in Kosovo. I am underlining once again that Pristina abolish this unreasonable and harmful move, we are willing to continue dialogue in search of a sustainable solution”, the letter continues.

Besides Vuciq has not hesitated to extend an invitation to the US president to visit Serbia.

I want to give you a lot of calls to visit Serbia as the first president of the US after 40 years. Your Honor, accept my best wishes for the further prosperity of your country and the well-being of American citizens, as well as my deep gratitude”, says this letter.

This letter from Vuciqi comes days after Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to Belgrade. Even at this meeting, Vuciq-Putin was discussed in resolving Kosovo's problem, however, in what Putin said about the media after the meeting, there was no signal that his state is interested in any solution.
