Wayland against border correction: Do not promise more visa dates

European Parliament Vice President Rainer Wieland has declared that the idea of border correction is not good. During today's visit to Pristina, he has also discussed the issue of visa liberalisation, where he has said he will support Kosovo from having no other conditions. I've discussed many issues, [...]
I have discussed many issues, but a topic that is very much discussed here is visa liberalisation. The EP last year has voted this, and in that vote it has also been my vote. I'll support you not to have any other conditions except what you've had. Unfortunately, I can't promise you when this can be done, because there are some governments that are still not convinced”, he said.
Wieland also stated that it still stands on his advice, “don't promise this year, but I would advise not to talk about specific times”.
We don't think it's a good step, so these regions can change borders because there are more influences than in other regions. I don't think it's a good idea this”, he said.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has said he has requested Wieland's feeling to show the truth about Kosovo. We also discussed the issue of visa liberalisation. For me, Germany's support is very important and I sought his help to tell the truth about Kosovo”, Haradinaj said.
Haradinaj has stressed that he expects the Serbian List to be in the Assembly, when the budget will be voted, while speaking of Oliver Ivanovic's murder as well.
“We have been working carefully on the budget this year, we have identified the needs for Serb majority municipalities. I asked them to be in session when the budget is voted, because it's the responsibility to the people. I had not interrupted the coalition with them, but it is better to be them. As for Ivanovic, we have been prepared and continued to work to know the truth. It's hard to answer because it's probably not in Kosovo. Therefore I do not rush to propose, but we are interested in implementing justice”, he said, the KP reports.
Wieland also had a gift for Kosovo's prime minister, where he donated a toy that was a train, while the prime minister donated it to the Kosovo map.
