Prime Minister Kadri Veselini has again sent invitations to leaders of institutions and opposition representatives for a upcoming meeting to agree on dialogue with Serbia.
The meeting was called for Monday on January 14th at 11:00. President Prime Minister Negotiator Team and representatives of parliamentary groups from opposition LDK and VV have been invited to the meeting Monday.
However, the Vetevendosje Movement has again decided to boycott this meeting. They are saying these meetings are being held for Hashim Thaci's legitimacy.
“These meetings are being held for Thaci's legitimacy in dialogue with Serbia and to create the impression that Thaci has the real lack of support. He's lonely in this action. All he has with him are some minority parties that have the main challenge of passing the threshold that is subject to a man”, VV spokeswoman Tinka Kurti has said of Telegrafi. She has added that Kadri Wessel instead of such tables should call the session for the government report's review and assessment of 33 agreements reached.
The first meeting of such a kind was held at the end of December last year, where even then the LDK and VV boycotted the meeting.
Both parties have sent no representatives to join the Negotiator Team.
