Two weeks ago, Turkey, led by Rexhep Tayyip Erdogan, has approved a free trade agreement between Serbia and Turkey in its Parliament. This agreement will create conditions for increasing the number of customs-free products between the two countries.
And at the time when parliamentary sessions were held in Turkey for such an agreement, there is an opposition MP who has delivered a content speech, severely rejecting this step between the two governments, reports Indexline.
The opposition MP in his touching speech says he is descended from the Balkans and that he opposes tax removal for Serbian goods after this state has committed an asshole in Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
MP's speech:
I'm from the Balkans. I'm the son of a family who's left to escape the Serb massacres. I am the son of a family who left dead in those lands that came here leaving a family in exile in Serbia.
I'm the son of a mother who came by train to Turkey carried the dead child to her arms so she wouldn't bury him on Serbian soil. He brought it in and buried it here on Motherland.
Today we are ratifying the customs tax agreement with a state that has committed these massacres.
For Serbia in the Balkans, there are two problems: The first are Bosniaks, the second being Albanians. Both are the oppressed people of the Balkans. Aren't you always saying that our government is always with oppressed peoples?
Well, those two oppressed peoples in the Balkans, Albanians and Bosniaks are being oppressed and killed by Serbs. It is due to support (such as this agreement) given to Serbs.
