The head of state has told the American Admiral that Kosovo is committed to lasting peace and stability.
“We are working to create conditions to continue dialogue, as the only way for lasting peace and stability. We are grateful for your dedication to preserving peace in Kosovo and the region”, President Thaci said.
President Thaci and Admiral James Foggo have also talked about the transition of the Kosovo Security Force, which is a co-ordinated process with KFOR and NATO.
On the other hand, US Navy Admiral James Gordon Foggo III stressed that dialogue is the only road leading forward.
“KFOR will continue to offer peace and security”, he has said.
President Thaci has said 2019 was announced year-old NATO in Kosovo to remember and honour the dedication and sacrifice of NATO states soldiers for Kosovo.
