The suspect has been identified as Dakota Theriot, while police show that his parents' troops, Elizabeth Theriot and Keith Theriot, both 51 years old, were found in the town of Gonzales with injuries from gun shooting but still with signs of life, reports U. HOW TODAY.
The couple, who later died in the hospital, were able to identify Dakotan as suspect of shooting, Sheriff Ascension County said, Bobby Webre.
He said Dakota lived with his parents for a short time but they asked him to leave the house and never come back.
Authorities in Livingston County say the suspect is believed to have gone to his parents' home after he had previously killed three other victims -- Billy Ernest, 43, Tanner Ernest, 17, and Summer Ernest, 20, in Livingston County.
