Switzerland willing to support promotion of Kosovo agricultural products on Swiss market

Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development Mevludin Krasniqi has hosted the president of the Swiss Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services, Stefan Sarkany, along with a delegation of this organisation, with which they have talked about the possibility of co-operation in the agriculture sector through promoting Kosovo agricultural products in the Swiss market.

In this case, Deputy Minister Krasniqi announced them with the ministry's agriculture development programmes in the country, which, according to him, have brought results and thanks to investments in agriculture, has also provided increased quality of agricultural products produced in the country, which are already penetrated the regional and European market.

During this meeting, the deputy minister thanked the directors of this organization for their willingness to start co-operation in the agriculture and food industry sector, as Switzerland's experience and aid is welcome, given the fact that this country is known for producing certain dairy products.

For his part, the president of the Swiss Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services, Stefan Sarcany, praised the achievements in the agriculture sector in the country, and stressed their readiness to support the penetration of agricultural products and food industry “Made in Kosova” on the Swiss market. For this they indicated they are willing to start this co-operation with producers and food industry makers in the country.
