The education sector has warned that unless the teaching challenge in the salary bill increases, then as of January 14th it will go on a general strike.
SBASK Chairman Beftman Jashari told news today that despite this union's warnings, none of the institutions have contacted them.
So far no one has contacted us. We've sent letters to the Minster Bytyqi, and if nothing changes, on January 14th we'll go on a general strike”, Jasharaj said.
Trepca's workers joined the strike during yesterday, while it has been warned that the same will continue during today.
Meanwhile, although a compatibility between unionists and the Health Ministry was reached, surgeons are continuing their strike.
The Kosovo government has not yet been declared in connection with this trade union warnings.
