Student Democracy: Rectors Strike for Personal Interests

Student Democracy strikers at public university reactors call the criteria groundless and interference in the professional work of Kosovo's Agency of Discension, according to them, programmes that have opened at these universities have not met the criteria and have been contrary to the Law of Higher Education.

According to this organization, programmes that weren't accredited, reactors have only served to employ their people, and they're damaging students.

“We all know that most of the university's open post-war rectors have been appointed by politics and we stress that the Rector of the Applied Sciences University in Ferizaj is also a member of the PDK's leadership in Skenderaj, and at the same time the rectors in the Universities”, has declared MIN Ramisa from Student Democracy.

“We as a student organisation call on the Kosovo Agency to stick to the professional decisions it has made for failing to discredit these programmes because this decision contributes to the quality of education in Kosovo and benefits students and the country”, the appeal of this organisation is highlighted.
