The miners require a 20 per cent salary increase, no admission of workers without competition, and a meeting with the Trepca Board.
The chairman of the miners' union, Shyshiri Sadiku, has told Kosovo that the general strike will continue until their demands are met.
The first requirement is to raise wages for 20 per cent, not to become the admission of workers without competition, miners demand that the Trepca Board come to Stantarg in front of the miners, otherwise we don't know him Bord. The fourth requirement is to meet the suspended strike requirements on 13,07.2018. No government officials have yet visited us. Minister of Economic Development Valdrin Luka has tried to call me, I'm not picking up the phone. The board is not responding positively. The board has been formed for eight months, but never has it been in front of the miners to see the conditions and problems confronting miners”, Sadiku said.
He has added that all decisions of the strike Council would support the union.
