More than 350,000 pre-university education institutions and about 110 thousand students in Kosovo for about 2 weeks are not continuing the learning process as a result of the teacher strike.
Teachers continue to be persistent in realising their demand related to raising the wage cofficiency.
According to the current wage bill, between 1.7 and 2.5 cofficients include representatives of the education system, along with garden educators to high school directors.
The United Trade Union's request for Education, Science and Culture and the Council is the establishment of the cofficiency for education workers at least 30 percent.
But the failure to convey the learning process by education experts and parents' representatives is considered to have major consequences for students and the entire education process in the near future.
Minister of Science and Technology in the Government of Kosovo Shyqi tells Radio Free Europe that the greatest damage from this strike is being done to students.
