In a long letter, family and attorney have clarified that Armend Gashi with the removal of the notice board has not wanted to incite hatred, divisions.

Amend Gashi's family and lawyer have apologized to those who were offended by their son's actions.
“All the people who live in the village and in the surrounding villages, and throughout the Republic of Kosovo, who have felt insulted by that act, we apologize for this bad information and that in this matter we have had misunderstandings of his action, which consisted of giving priority to those who gave their lives for the freedom of our country living in that village, but always not having as the intention of inciting hatred”, it is said further on paper.
The family and the lawyer have also criticised the writings posted on media and portals, naming them baseless and biased.
