In the county of Decani teachers have started their work, and the learning process is being held normally. The mayor of this municipality, Bashkim Ramosaj, has confirmed this himself.
On the other hand, SBASK Chairman Nundman Jashar says the information they have on the ground is different.
I will go to Decani, hold a meeting with the strike council. The information we have from the field speaks differently, however we will issue a later announcement about their” position, Jashari told Indexline.
According to Jashar, the constant demands of mayors are completely unreasonable, since they should not be questioned on the issue.
“The mayors of municipalities are not the ones to ask, they don't have to get involved. We're going to get information about each municipality and we're going to report to you exactly”, and he added it further during the conversation.
Jashar says they do not intend to interrupt the strike until the government improves their bid.
“We continue to have our same position, we will not stop the strike and remember that the government's offer is very low and small, and they are still able to improve their” bid, Jashar estimates.
By contrast, according to the Government's recent decision and the reconciliation of the Parliamentary Commission, the entire pre-university educational system with the 0.20 coefficiency, is about 48 euros for each teacher based on the current salary they have today.
