The invitation for the interview he received from the Special Court forced former KLA member Remzi Shala to flee Kosovo.
The same, refusing to respond to the prosecution's Specialised Chambers' invitation to interview, left in an unknown direction.
Friends of his, news.net say Shala is currently outside Kosovo, though such information is not officially confirmed.
Shala's lawyer, Natal Bulaaj, said today he has communicated with Remzi's relatives, but that no one is aware of his whereabouts.
We don't have any information about where he is until now. I've also contacted his brother's son, but neither is he aware of”, Bullaki said.
Remzi Shala, who on December 12th of the following year reportedly left his home, refusing to respond to special invitation, did not inform his war associates where he is going.
The same ones said the only thing they know is that Shala is out of Kosovo, but that it is unknown in which country.
