Last night, SBASK rejected Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's offer of increased teachers' salaries, standing firm by the strike.
The SBASAK chairman, Nundman Jasharaj today visited Mitrovica, which has called for the start of learning.
During his visit to Our Guam, Jasharaj reiterated the unionist's stance on the strike.
We're not looking for more than others. The pay bill is deignive. Either we lose or we all win... from now on to university level, we have to be more unique than ever and not let apart from anyone. We have entered a battle or we will all win or lose”, Jasharaj said.
Naye Uka, director of the nursery, said that rising salaries should be included all educational levels.
” I expressed her gratitude to the president who joined us, asked whether or not the technical workers involved in raising the cofficiency, while we are all on strike, the prime minister has not even included the nests, we demand that all of the pre-school institutions and universities be involved, while the offer the prime minister has made for all, he has completely overlooked the nests<1>, Uka said.
According to the prime minister, the increase for high school teachers will be 74 euros from the current salary.
For primary education of 479 euros what it is currently at 525.8, so growth is 46 euros.
For pre-school system teachers from 447.9 is now up to 501 euros.
As for the Special School Teachers category, the increase will be 49.8 euros.
