US President Donald Trump has announced in December that the time has come for the United States to withdraw troops from Syria.
Prince Faisal spoke before US Secretary of State Mike Pompeii visited Riyadh.
Pompeii is taking a tour of the Middle East, and has already visited Iraq, Jordan, Egypt and Behrani.
