Russian Patriarch: The Antichrist is coming.

The head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kiril, said that the capacity of equipment for collecting data, such as smart phones, is jeopardising humanity's approach to reaching the Antichrist.

In an interview with state television, Kiril said the church does not oppose technological progress, but worries that someone might know where you are, you know exactly what you care about, they know exactly what you're afraid of and that this information can be used for a centralised system of control of the world, the AP reports.

“Control from one point is the sign of the coming of the Antichrist, if we are talking about the Christian view. The Antichrist is a person who will lead a world network that controls the entire human race”, the patriarch said.
