Klan Kosova learns that Republic of Palau has withdrawn recognition he had made to the state of Kosovo 9 years ago.
This source stresses that recognition has backed down after a major pressure on Serbian diplomacy, supported by Russia.
Serbia's Foreign Minister, Ivica Dacic, has declared today on a Belgrade television that Serbia has succeeded, thus convincing a state to withdraw recognition it has made to Kosovo, not to mention the name of this state.
But Klan Kosova learns it's about Republic of PalauThe island state, positioned in the western Pacific Ocean.
Klan Kosova has contacted the Kosovo Foreign Ministry to confirm this news.
Information officials, however, have denied such a development.
The Kosovo government imposed economic sanctions on Serbian products after the diplomatic offensive for attracting Kosovo's recognitions on Belgrade, and after the continued lobbiation of Serbian authorities that led to Kosovo's non-membership in Interpol.
Serbian diplomacy claims there are 12 other states that have refused recognition, as far as the Kosovo Foreign Ministry denies it.
But Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli had declared that as a result of the lobby against Kosovo recognition, the state of the Marshall Islands had suspended recognition until an agreement in dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
The Republic of Palau had recognised Kosovo on June 6th 2009.
