KTV finds that Remi's interrogation is expected to continue today at least until 17. Today, however, it has been warned that the interview could last even after this hour when the prosecution officially completes the work schedule.
Former commander of KLA for the Llap Operative Zone, Rrustem Mustafa Remy.
He's come to the Special Prosecutor's Office headquarters accompanied by his lawyers until the interview began at 10 o'clock.
His defenders and no specialised Prosecution officials have agreed to confirm Mustafa's status of questioning. But based on the Procedure and Evidence Order, namely rule 26, suspects and accused are those who have the right to have lawyers from the Special Protection List.
Mustafa's lawyer, Arian Koci, is part of this list and enters the category of defence lawyers approved by the Court. Some of the lawyers on this list have the status of only <x0 victims” or “defender/victims”.
Mustafa has thus become the first Kosovar to be interviewed by SPS investigators and prosecutors. He's just one of the people invited by the Special Court, who was publicly active at the end of 2018.
A senior KLA figure, former commander of the Drenica Zone Sami Lushtaku, is being questioned this Wednesday.
