About 80% of visitors were accompanied by one of the museum's 320 guides in 20 languages.
Such a large percentage of those who decide to recognise Auschwitz's history during organised group visits attach great importance to this museum, says museum director Piotr Ciwinski.
This enables not only to broaden knowledge and a deeper outlook but also the desire to dialogue and ask for this tragic story, he concludes.
