Distincting teaching in Kosovo schools will negatively affect students. They'll find it hard after a few days' break to get back to class and be focused on classes.
Naim Telaku, professor of psychology at Pristina University, has shown how strikes will affect students psychologically. He also said against the strike.
“Greva is not fair especially after negotiations and government proposal, I think the strike should stop. As for the educational aspect, I'm a teacher, and when it happens for a party not to be given any speech, then the whole teaching plan for a semester is disturbed and it's very difficult to compensate. So in this case all these shortages and you're given that there may be other shortages that may occur because of holidays or bad weather conditions or whatever the application of the curriculum is, and they halve the effect the curriculum should have to do, says Telaku
He says the entire situation created in education is happening because the education system in Kosovo is not being taken seriously enough.
This approach is because the education system in Kosovo is not taken very seriously, and especially at lower levels, so this is being misused for different things at certain stages, this is happening without any consideration of what the cost of the people is. The university alone has over 30,000 students as well as students in large numbers, so the cost is too high and cannot be compensated for”, he added.
The psychologist explained in detail how this intermission of learning affects students. And psychologically, it's harmful, because students, students, they need a lot of trying to be motivated during the semester, and they understand the lessons better. So even the motive fades or is cancelled when such moves occur, as in small financial issues that need to be resolved by negotiation and deal”, the Telaku has concluded.
The strike at all educational institutions in Kosovo has started on January 14th, while the SBASK has announced that the strike will not stop until the implementation of their demands. Where they're looking for the establishment of cofficients at least 30 percent from nests to Universities.
