Pristina streets hard to escape

After snowfall, the streets of the capital this morning were hard to escape, both for rowers and pedestrians. The latter blame the Pristina municipality because they think the cleaning companies are not committed to cleaning roads. Only in the last 24 hours have 35 traffic accidents occurred.

Since the streets were almost entirely uncleaned, Isaac Sadiku was forced to clean the sidewalks in front of the locals. It was hard walking even here. He says, that all roads in the city are almost endless.

For today's day it's impossible, maybe I can say. Since I have also seen the municipality take the initiative to clean roads, especially sidewalks. But, maybe I can say it's not enough until there's trouble crossing”, he said.

The roads are hard to escape, and Rasim Hoxha says.

The roads are really up to a dead end, need to take bigger initiatives to do them, to do the cleaning of roads... It takes more of them to engage a little bit more, each citizen is really having trouble on the sidewalks, because the passage is hard”, Hoxha said.

According to him, citizens should be alarmed about this situation because, as he said, local power is not being cared about.

Fatos Gashi found the circulation in the city difficult. Today, he says, it is very difficult to drive as a result of unconventional roads.

There are very difficult driving roads today, they're not very expensive, especially near the Technical School, or where there's ups and downs, they're extremely unsurpassed... To clean up more without your wine, we have washed the streets than we have now”, Gashi said.

Same opinion is shared by Naim Osman, a citizen from Pristina.

It's hard driving today, looks like roads aren't passed, it's not good enough, so it's hard for everybody. At least for those who don't have winter preparations it's really very difficult” has finished Osman.

According to him, under such conditions, they are in danger of accidents, and for this condition he made the municipality because they are not responsible.

Unlike reality, the capital's first -- via the social facebook network -- has said that cleaning companies have been in the field all night.

All contracted companies have been on the ground all night long and continue to work with full capacity. The risks are expected to continue, so we pray for limited circulation and adaptation of speed”, Shpend Ahmeti wrote.

According to the Kosovo Police report in the last 24 hours, 35 traffic accidents have occurred.

Any fatal incidents, accidents with eight injuries without hurting 27, traffic tickets pronounced 1042<18x1>, the Kosovo Police report said.
