The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has been hosting today's meeting representatives of the Kosovo Civil Service Union, with which he has talked about recent developments, especially about the draft Peacework Law for the public sector.
In this case, as stated in the Government's announcement, Prime Minister Haradinaj after hearing their demands, said that along with the government cabinet and competent persons in this area, they are committed to fully responding to their demands.
In this regard, we have decided to address issues related to the work schedule of the 1990s by creating a government commission that will address this topic. Also discussed will be the working conditions in civil service, the aspect of inspectors and the advance of civil servants of the Pristina municipality under the Law for Capital”, the prime minister said during this meeting according to the announcement.
Among other things, Prime Minister Haradinaj has expressed satisfaction that the rise of 0.20 %, which is equal to other sectors, was understood as a Government commitment to slightly improve the situation of civil servants and that continuing institutional dialogue between the Union and the Government will be his personal commitment.
The state administration represented by the civil service is the engine of our state and that their treatment will be careful through a continued dialogue”, Prime Minister Haradinaj said.
Prime Minister Haradinaj and representatives of the Kosovo Civil Service Union agreed to initiate direct institutional dialogue between the Government and Civil Service Unions.
For their part, representatives of the Kosovo Civil Service Union thanked the prime minister for today's reception and listened closely to their concerns. /Periscopi
