Police arrest three people for visa fraud

Kosovo police have arrested three people under suspicion that they have received thousands of euros, misleading victims that they will regulate the working visas for European Union countries. A KB report says the detainees are:
- N. Lepaja, male, 29, citizen of Republic of Kosovo
- K. Lepaja, male, 29, citizen of Republic of Kosovo
- V. Behram, male, 40, citizen of Republic of Kosovo
The three detainees are allegedly involved in the fraud work, taking various amounts of money (billion euros) from the victims, promising the victims that they will arrange their work visas for European Union countries.
“Supported the first results of the investigation has raised reasonable doubt that this fraud has occurred consistently over a long period of time and is suspected that the number of people misled by reaching over 8 different citizens who have not reported being deceived by the same person”, the police report said.
Following the prosecutor's arrest and takeover, suspected persons have been sent to the Pristina regional detention centre, where investigators are currently conducting all necessary investigative and procedural actions before the case is sent to court.
Police have invited all who are victims of these frauds to appear at the nearest police station for sentencing.
