The 1165th U.S. Congress is quite divers in its composition, and now the social networking photo that has been used in the U.S. Congress has begun to flow, reports Periscope.
New conventioners have had dozens of sworn documents, including the Constitution of the United States, the Bible, and the Koran, before them.
Among them were Ilhan Omar and Rasida Tlaib, two American Muslim women who will serve in the House of Representatives.
Tlaib, Democrat of Michigan, made history even as the first Palestinian-American woman to serve in Congress.
Tlaib said he used the 100-year-old Koran to swear.
88 % of the making of the American Congress are Christians. The rest are Muslim and Jewish. /Periscopi/
