Members of civil society in Kosovo have demanded from Kosovo's Parliament deputies that at the plenary session, warned for Wednesday, they vote on the Law regulating their jobs with the required changes.
Civil society in Kosovo is seeking to change Article 41's 31 amendment, which concerns the principle of profit, which, as it currently is, allows the wealth of NGOs, after extinction, to be transferred to private businesses.
The civil society law adopted in November 2018 has been restored to the Assembly by the President's Office, following demands of civil society with the argument that the approved law jeopardises the functioning of the non-governmental sector.
