The head of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, has said the PDK has not made an official offer for co-operation with the LDK for the collapse of the Haradinaj government, though such an offer, as Mustafa stressed, may have been tabled formally by PDK officials.
We haven't had any official offer from the PDK, because of the situation I am now having no major movement abroad in order to contact PDK people. I can't say that there were no different meetings or parties that might have even emerged any such option or proposal, but we didn't have the official proposal in LDK”, Mustafa said.
He said the LDK in no way agrees to co-operate with the PDK, but at the same time stressed that this party has no red lines for any subject.
“Even if we had an invitation we would not co-operate in any case because we considered that this Government should fall and go to the elections and gain legitimacy for these processes that are now important and that Kosovo be together in these processes. However, we cannot say that we do not co-operate in any way because we have to keep in mind that the PDK as a party has an important part of the membership of citizens who prefer its programme, and of course we cannot exclude them or conduct them in important processes. But the PDK must also bear the consequences for disrespecting the contracts, the agreement we have had with them. For new elections we will enter as LDK and depending on the decisions that the LDK bodies make, we will be defined for the ruling partners”, he stressed at RTV21.
