Jethlir Zyberaj, who is adviser to Foreign Affairs Minister Behgjet Pacolli, has said that the Republic of Kosovo respects and guarantees each citizen's right to exercise religious rituals, but that there will be no pilgrimage today.
However, just to inform the public opinion, there will be no pilgrimage to any city in Kosovo today because such a thing has not been asked by the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo. Our state will always guarantee the right to ordinary citizens whenever they ask for it. We understand the concerns of Gjakova's mothers and citizens, but we guarantee them that no criminal will ever be part of pilgrims because their country will be prison”, he wrote.
