Activation has been achieved thanks to the refocusing of the line that dates from an old Trepca trafo that was out of order.

KEDS teams have secured the 35 kV connection, COSTT teams line 110 kV, and Trepca has offered the beam.
This is the third option within three days, as three days ago as a result of an extraordinary work in Mitrovica had established two supply lines for this city and its surrounding villages, including Trepca.

This is due to 90 KED workers and 30 employees contracted by the company, who have managed in record terms to establish the connection of Mitrovica both on the part of Vushri and the Vallaqi substation in the country's north.

KEDS teams have managed to install within the day about 2,000m pm and 400m underground cables. On the same day, 12 cable heads and other surveillance material have been deployed, which have enabled two new 35 kilovolt lines, enough for Mitrovica's supplies with the district to function simultaneously.
But after KED carried out all works, reactivating the Vallachi line was impossible because of technical procedures that are not the company's responsibility. This had made the supply only from the Vushtrri substation that provided energy for about 85 percent of citizens, since COST transformer had no more capacity.
But thanks to the third line reactivating, this problem has been overcome.
