Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Enver Hoxhaj has reacted to statements by Slovakia's Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak about dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
In a Twitter post, Hoxhaj addressed Lajcak, saying Slovakia's opinion of Kosovo and the region would be much more creditable if this state had supported the UN's proposal for independence and had recognised Kosovo as the other 23 EU member states did.
Instead of preaching, Hoxhaj said Slovakia should become an example of its actions.
My beloved “Mic Miroslav Lajcak, imagine how much more credibility Slovakia's opinion on Kosovo and the region would have been if your country had supported the United Nations' proposal for independence and recognised Kosovo's independence, as did 23 other UN member states”, Hoxhaj wrote.
