Bytyqi has said that the government has no budgetary potential to increase the wage coefyti.
“The SBASK continues the following request from the beginning, but I consider it not clear that it is not a matter of discussion, but it is a budgetary option and there is no more room left for discussion, because this is the only budgetary opportunity for a salary increase, which is not actually a low increase because there is a high budgetary impact”, Bytyqi has announced.
The head of education has announced that the purpose of meeting with representatives of the SBASK strike council has been to inform this council of implications for the budgetary growth of teachers' salaries.
Bytyqi said students are not guilty, and according to him, the SBASK has to reflect.
Otherwise, the SBASK has asked for a 30 per cent wage cofficiency increase, meanwhile, the government has offered a 0.20 per cent increase. Representatives of the SBASK have suggested that the strike in education would not cease without their demand being met.
